We're Going to Leadville. All Summer Long.

By Daniel, Founder — Daily Miles Beard & Soap Co.

Some products start with a formula. Some start with a market gap or a trend report or a whiteboard full of ideas.

The 10,152 ft Leadville Edition started with a mountain.

The Inspiration Behind the Scent

If you've ever been to Leadville, Colorado, you know the feeling. The air is different up there. Thinner. Colder in the mornings. The pine ridgelines catch the early light in a way that doesn't exist anywhere else, and before a race — before everything begins — there's a quiet that only exists above treeline.

That's the scent we built.

Pine Needle, Fir Balsam, Juniper Berry, Bergamot, Cedarwood, and Eucalyptus. Pure essential oils. Premium carrier oils. Nothing synthetic. Nothing that doesn't belong on a mountain at 10,152 feet.

We called it the 10,152 ft Leadville Edition. Because that's exactly what it is.

Why Leadville? Why This Summer?

This isn't a brand that names products after places we've seen on a map or admired from a distance. Daily Miles was built on the idea that you earn your miles — and this scent was earned.

This summer, I'm spending it in Leadville. All of it.

It starts in June with the Leadville Run Camp — high altitude training, early mornings, and the kind of physical work that reminds you what you're made of.

In July, I'm toeing the line at the Silver Rush 50 — a 50-mile out-and-back through the San Isabel National Forest that will take everything I've got.

And in August, I'll be at the start line of the Legendary Leadville Trail 100 — 100 miles, 15,600 feet of elevation gain, and a race that has defined what it means to push past comfortable for decades.

In between, I'll be out there volunteering at the Leadville Trail Marathon & Heavy Half, cheering at the Leadville 100 Mountain Bike Race, and being part of the community that makes this place unlike anywhere else on earth.

This scent came from all of it. From the pre-dawn runs. From the cold air that hits your face on race morning. From the smell of the forest at 10,000 feet when everything else falls away.

Come Find Us at the Expo

If you're heading to Leadville for the Trail Marathon & Heavy Half, come find us at the expo. We'll have the 10,152 ft Leadville Edition — and the full Daily Miles lineup — on hand. I'd love to meet you, talk training, and put a bottle of this in your hands so you can smell exactly what we're talking about.

A Note on the Limited Batch

We made 50 bottles. That's it.

This isn't a permanent addition to the lineup. There's no restock planned, no second run scheduled. When they're gone, they're gone. We wanted to keep it true to what it is — a small batch product born from a specific place and a specific summer, not a mass-produced SKU.

If the mountain is calling, don't wait.

The Mountain Is Waiting

Whether you've already got a Leadville buckle on your shelf, you've got your eyes on one, or you just know what it means to push yourself into the kind of terrain that demands everything — this one's for you.

We'll see you out there.
